I was invited this past weekend to attend the Annual WMU Conference with Linda in Gatlinburg. (Imagine, spending a weekend with 1600 women, most over the age of 60). My official duty was photographer. Unofficially, I think I was just there for moral support. Linda was very busy and did a great job.
In conjunction with the Women's meeting was the Acteen convention, about 600 teenage girls. (Imagine spending a weekend with 600 teenage girls. What was I thinking?) Anyway, it was a great opportunity to hang out and take pictures.
This picture is the drummer of the band that played for the kids. The band consisted of one girl singer and three guys. All were from the BSU in Memphis. They were all good kids. On Sunday morning the band also played for the 1600 Older ladies. Imagine that!
