They say, "the older you are the faster time passes". I have found that to be true in many areas of life but not when it comes to vacation. In much the same way that small children count the days until Christmas, Linda and I count the days until vacation. We begin to get excited when we get down to double digits 99...98....97......etc. When we get down to single digits, well, we sort of act like kids.
We enjoy our time away, our time together, and the change of pace that vacation offers. Also, we have been going to the same area in Florida for about 12 years now, it is sort of like our second home.
We will be leaving tomorrow and we are going to try to slow time down and squeeze all that we can from 10 short days. When we return we will once again begin the countdown, 365....364.....363............................................................................
