In the Eye of the Beholder

.
Beauty is all around us. With camera in hand I seldom run out of things of which to take pictures. The camera has a way of capturing beauty in things that the eye often misses. This is a shot that was suggested by Linda as we were walking along the greenway. An upturned leaf had captured a spoonful of water from a recent shower. I almost didn't take the shot. It looked drab and ordinary. It was not until I looked at it on the computer that I noticed the red leafs, the green sprig of grass and the metallic glare of the water.

Beauty is all around us. You just have to know where to look.
