Alas, I have decided that it is time to update my cell phone. My old Samsung A-500 was indeed state of the art six years ago when I purchased it. However, by today's standards it leaves a lot to be desired. It still worked fine but it just isn't cool. Even 60 year old Pastors have to protect their image.
My new cell is a Blackberry 8320 and it does just about everything. With the Blackberry plan all of my emails are now forwarded directly to my cell phone. It has a full qwerty keyboard for typing and texting. It syncs with microsoft outlook so all my contacts and calender events are at my fingertips. It has voice dial. I can say a name or phone number and it will dial it for me. Did I mention that it has a camera and a media player. I can load all my favorite songs and pictures on a micro SD card.
Probably, the neatest thing is that it has UMA WiFi. Whenever I am in range of a hotspot or my home wireless network the phone switches to WiFi and my calls go out over VOIP for free. No airtime minutes are used.
It does a lot more stuff but I haven't finished reading the 285 page manual yet.
Sorry Jenny, I am no longer a sprint customer. This is a T-Mobile account.
My Phone Number is the Same.

I guess I'll have to cut back on those 2 hour weekly phone calls to my parents. Wait - that's my husband not me. How did I marry such a chatty guy?
Have you sent a text yet?
