Pastor Appreciation Month

Yes, I know that October is Pastor Appreciation Month.Yes, I know that most Churches will acknowledge their pastor in some manner during the month. However, this year I felt especially appreciated. Not only did I get my name on the sign they prepared a meal in my honor and gave me many cards with heartfelt well wishes. All of this plus a handsome monetary gift that will allow us to get away and enjoy ourselves for a couple nights. The very best part is that, as far as I can tell, it was genuine appreciation.
