A Love Letter

I must confess reading a love letter that my Dad wrote my Mom during WWII makes me feel a little funny.

In case you can't read it from the picture here is what it says;


My Dear Little Wife,

How is my baby doll feeling tonight fine I hope. For me I am O.K. never felt better in my life. I have been working in the church all day making some benches for it.

Honey I am making a ring out of a coin the kind we use over here and if it turns out O.K I am going to send it to you if I can. Honey you asked me if I would still look at you if you didn't stay prettyed up. Honey you know that I would, I would still love you any way you mite look. But I don't blame you for fixing up. I am getting a letter from you ever day now and I also got your easter card today. Well by by sweetheart for this time.
