Hannah Made the News

Hannah was all excited this week because the local newspaper came to her school to interview select students. She was one of the seven selected. The article was titled Through A Child's Eyes. The question asked; "If you were principal for one day, what would you change?

Hannah's answer, in case you can't read below the picture. "Everyone would do math and science part of the day. We would sing at lunch, and we would eat spaghetti, apples and rolls. We would also go on a field trip to the park.

Just for the sake of comparison here is what some of the others wrote;

Girl 1: I would have everyone do 20 minutes of reading, 10 minutes of math, and we would have pizza and put on a play for the school.

Boy 1: I would run the school just the way it is now. I think the way Dr. Patterson runs the school is just fine. I would not change a thing.

Boy 2: There would be no homework, and we would play outside all day. For lunch we would have hot dogs, corn dogs, chips and Pepsi.

Girl 2: All of the grades would put on two programs each. The plays would be singing and acting. There would be no homework, and the lunch special would be hot dogs, fries and soft drink.

Sorry Jenny, no one mentioned music. :(

No, there were two comments! Hannah wants to sing while eating spaghetti and Girl #2 wants to sing during plays. That counts.
