Easter at Granny's

It is Easter and the tradition continues. It's Lunch at Granny's with the annual Easter Egg Hunt following the meal. Granny still purchased the eggs, (enough to feed a small village in Africa). There were the prize eggs with money in them. Just to make sure that no one child found all the prize eggs each prize eggs had a child's name on it. And of course there is more money for the one who finds the most eggs, and even for those who didn't.

At age eight, Hannah and Bret are pros. They were in fierce competition to see who could find the most eggs. Kendall, on the other hand was delighted to find just one egg. With each egg discovered she would stop, inspect it, shake it, show it to everyone, unwrap it, taste it and if it passed inspection she would place it in her basket.

Tradition lives on but things are slowly changing. This year the honor of hiding the eggs was passed on to Kerri. She seemed to enjoy it. Evidently she did a good job. It seemed to meet with Margie and Granny's approval.
