Like the commercial says "Life comes at you fast". We had just settled down for what would have been a normal Friday evening when the phone rang. Kerri called to tell us that Kendall had fallen off a chair and they were taking her to the emergency room. We left immediately to meet them there. They arrived a short time before we did and when we went into the emergency area and asked where the Capps baby was the nurse pointed and said "Just follow the screams." When we got to the room John was lying in the bed holding Kendall. They both looked like they needed to be there. Kendall was screaming "Band Aid mommy, Kendall needs a Band Aid."
Long story short, after a shot of morphine they X-rayed her right arm and it is broken in two places. They put a splint on it and sent her home. She will see an orthopedic doctor Monday and they will put a hard cast on it. Sorry Kendall, it will take more than a band aid to fix this.

OH NO! I am so sorry!! GOOD GRIEF! Broken in TWO places?!?! What was she doing?!?! Being super woman?! Bless her heart. I cannot imagine what that was like for Kendall, John or Kerri!

No one knows for sure but the theory is she was leaning over the arm of the sofa trying to reach some candy on the floor and she just toppled over falling about 18 inches to the floor.
How is Kendall now? Does she have a cast? How did the appt go on Monday?
Poor thing. I hope she's feeling better now.
