At about 9:20 on August 6, 1974 our oldest daughter Jenny decided to back into this world.
Thankfully, she has been going in a positive direction ever since.
Happy Birthday Jenny.

I love this picture. Often I will come across the question asking what famous person I would like to meet or have dinner with. I'm not that interested in eating with anyone famous, but I would love to have a conversation with the woman in this picture. Strangely, I am a full 13 years older than her.
And while we're at it, I would want that young 18ish year old Martha to show up. There is a fantastic picture that used to sit downstairs on the rolling desk. She and James were standing next to a car and he had his arm around her waist. She is wearing kulot type pants with wedge heels and he has jet black hair slicked into formation.
I, too, love this picture. Even though it is 37 years old I still see the same innocence and youthfulness every time I look at her.
